Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, detail oriented, and independent problem solver to join our U.S. team as the L+D Operations Coordinator. In this fast-paced, dynamic, and collaborative environment, the coordinator will support planning, execution, and evaluation of our learning and development offerings. This person will work closely with the U.S. and global L+D team to ensure consistent, pragmatic, and efficient processes are in place to support smooth delivery of programs, initiatives, and contribute to the overall success of the team.
Within Susquehanna, the Learning and Development team's purpose is to provide value-added support and experiences to the firm that helps to drive performance, grow, and retain talent, and enhance engagement. We do this by providing learning and development solutions that enable and develop employees and managers globally.
In this role you will:
• Coordinate the scheduling and logistics of training sessions, workshops, and other learning events
• Manage external learning opportunities inclusive of education assistance, conference process, external vendor relationship management, and external trainings
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through feedback and assessment tools
• Reconcile department and education/conference related expenses
• Support the implementation of e-learning platforms and other digital learning solutions
• Oversee global department SharePoint site to ensure content is current and relevant
• Support the implementation of a Learning Management System (LMS) as well as being the key admin for maintaining and updating this tool, and supporting the firms' employees, managers, and LMS administrators
• Provide administrative support to the Learning and Development team, including setting up standing meetings, create and maintain a global L+D annual calendar, organize content developed across the team for easy access, monitor department inbox, and field incoming requests for support from the L+D department
• Assist with annual talent processes such as performance management and internal feedback process
What we're looking for
• Minimum of 1 year of professional or intern experience
• Bachelor's degree, required
• Superior organizational, time management, and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem solving and decision-making capability
• Exceptional detail-orientation with a strong focus on accuracy and quality
• Strong proficiency working in Outlook or other scheduling systems, Word and Excel
• Passion for continuous learning and professional development
